In the app
- Open Sparingo and go to the Profile tab.
- At the very bottom, choose Delete account.
- Read what will happen and confirm with your password — or, if you sign in with Google, by typing your e-mail address.
Without the app
Write from the address linked to your account to kawalec@gmail.com asking for your account to be deleted. We will reply once it is done. Please write from the address linked to your account — it is the only way we can tell the request comes from you.
What happens straight away
- You are signed out on every device and cannot sign in again.
- You stop receiving notifications.
- Activities you organise are cancelled — participants are notified.
- You leave the activities you signed up for; your spot goes to the next person waiting.
- You disappear from partner search and participant lists.
What happens after 30 days
We delete your personal data: name, e-mail address, profile photo, date of birth, location, availability, sports, blocks, game proposals and conversations.
For those 30 days the data is still stored but visible to no one. The time lets us deal with reports of misconduct that may concern the account. During this period you cannot create a new account with the same e-mail address.
What remains
- Activity history — games you played stay in other people's history, shown as “Deleted account”, without a description.
- Ratings you gave others — the number of stars only, without the comment and without your name. They are part of those people's reputation.
- Reports of misconduct concerning your account, where needed to keep other users safe.
Database backups are kept for 14 days, so your data leaves the backups at most 14 days after it leaves the database — at most 44 days after you delete the account.
